Those who are familiar with the baroque transcriptions for bass
guitar, in particular Hal Leonard's "J.S. Bach for Electric Bass", and
are looking to increase their repertoire, will enjoy these arrangements
of ten piano and orchestral scores, adapted to be performed by the solo
bass guitarist. Whilst having been adapted to be played within the
limits of the bass guitar, they make use of open strings, natural
harmonics, and techniques such as tapping and double stopping in order
to preserve the harmonies, texture and timbre of the original
compositions. Each piece contains both musical notation and tab.
