Minimal Piano Dimensions" contains 16 new compositions for piano based on the models of Philip Glass, Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer and Yann Tiersen. The collection offers a multifaceted cross-section of different modern minimalist styles. From melancholic, sonorous miniatures to prelude-like pieces to epic and bombastic "trailer music" as known from various Hollywood films, a large number of characteristics of contemporary piano music are covered. The pieces always remain catchy and easy to play and thus represent an attractive and motivating change from the classical teaching literature for the advanced piano student. In order to facilitate the selection according to the individual level of practice, all pieces have been arranged according to increasing difficulty.
