have been transcribed and recorded by many guitarists. Here is a new
transcription by Finnish guitarist Timo Korhonen, who has built an
international career after becoming the youngest ever winner of the ARD
Music Competition in Munich. The transcription is faithful to the
original yet idiomatic to the guitar, and the original manuscript of
Bach is presented in full-page format. There is also an extended
commentary by Korhonen and a recording of the sonatas licensed from the
Ondine label. A first-class publication in every respect.
